Refund Policy

1. Overview
Exoliner sells digital software plans as one-time lifetime purchases. Access to the Service is delivered instantly upon successful payment, and license keys are activated immediately upon redemption.
Because of the digital nature of our product, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the conditions outlined below and applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Definition of "Lifetime"
Exoliner plans grant access for the operational lifetime of the Exoliner product, not the lifetime of the purchaser. This means your access remains valid for as long as Exoliner continues to operate and provide the Service.
In the event that Exoliner permanently discontinues the Service, no further obligations arise from the lifetime access grant beyond the final date of operation.
3. License Keys & Activation
License keys are single-use and are tied to your account upon redemption. Once a key has been redeemed and your account has been activated, the digital service is considered fully delivered.
Refunds are generally not available after a license key has been redeemed, as the digital content has been fully provided at that point.
4. When Refunds May Be Considered
We may consider a refund in the following circumstances:
- The product is materially defective and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe
- The product was not delivered or is substantially not as described
- A duplicate or erroneous charge occurred during payment processing
- A refund is required by applicable statutory consumer protection law
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve technical issues before determining refund eligibility. All refund requests are reviewed individually, and eligibility is assessed based on the information available at the time of review. We aim to respond to refund inquiries within 7 business days.
5. When Refunds Are Not Provided
Refunds are generally not provided in the following situations:
- Change of mind or buyer's remorse after the digital service has been delivered
- Failure to read the product description, features, or system requirements before purchase
- Dissatisfaction due to subjective expectations not aligned with the documented feature set
- Loss of access due to your own actions, such as sharing credentials or failing to secure your account
- Incompatibility with third-party software or services outside of our control
- Temporary service outages or interruptions — we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service, and temporary downtime does not constitute grounds for a refund
6. Violations & Account Termination
If your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service or Usage Rules, you are not entitled to a refund.
This includes, but is not limited to, account termination for abuse, fraud, reverse engineering, redistribution, or any other prohibited conduct as defined in our Terms of Service.
7. EU Consumer Rights
Exoliner operates from Germany and respects the statutory rights of consumers in the European Union.
Right of Withdrawal
Under applicable EU consumer protection laws, consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, for digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, this right expires once performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.
By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal expires once performance begins. This consent is obtained at checkout before payment is processed.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by agreement.
8. How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request, please contact us with the following information:
- Your Exoliner account e-mail address
- The e-mail address used at checkout (if different)
- Your transaction or payment ID (from Stripe)
- A brief description of the reason for your request
